I've been learning Korean for a few years and use Duolingo to keep my skills fresh. Lately, Duolingo has been hammering in how great dried persimmons are, how delicious and sweet they are, etc. I don't know if I've ever had persimmon before, but I was curious and ordered these to see what the hype was about. They're yummy! They mostly taste like any other dried fruit - naturally sweet with almost a leathery texture. I don't know if I'd buy more, but they're addicting. I'll set a package of it on the counter, and grab one when I walk by, only to go back for more

These are so delicate, moist, and lovely! I get other dried persimmons that appear to be Hachiyas, but I these are perhaps Fuyus? I eat both, but these are so elegant, fabulous with a nice gyokura, and so easy to carry in my purse, since they are in individual packs. Really a lovely product.

I liked that I can toss a baggie in my bag and eat it on the go. Funny how it looks like one persimmon was thinly sliced, dried, and put back together. Taste and chew are what I look for in dried persimmons so no complaints :)
