The media could not be loaded. Included in this set are various pieces of of a space ship. The pieces attach only with the included large plastic screws. The instructions show 3 different examples of a spacecraft that can be built with the parts, but no step by step on how to do it. It'll really challenge them to figure out how to build a ship that matches the photo or just be creative and come up with their own.

Screwing together parts is easy since an electric drill is included. Like an adult drill this can screw in forward and reverse to remove screws. 2 drill bits are included, but they perform the same function. Alternately the screws are chunky enough they might not even need the drill and just do it by hand. There are plenty of screws in case one gets misplaced.

The 2 included astronauts are fun and friendly looking. They have moveable arms and heads with a removable plastic helmet over their heads. There are 2 compartments they can ride on the ship so they can both go on an adventure together!

The main capsule of the ship has a door that lifts up and reveals the computer terminal. There are a few buttons which trigger sound effects and turn the interior lights on and off. The main cabin has clear sliding doors. And finally the propulsion system can be activated by drilling the bit on the side and watching the spirals spin.

There are a few other products in this line which use similar pieces and the same screws, so you can expand the toys and build bigger things. The lights, drill, and sound effects require 5 "˜AAA' batteries (not included), so make sure you have some on hand if giving as a gift. The entire package comes in a colorful box, so it'll be great to wrap up.

My 5 year daughter likes this too much. It is great to explain life of space shuttle in real world. Easy to install.

What an absolutely innovative and clever space shuttle rocket-ship. There are so many things to keep my tot engaged and entertained. Sounds, lights, doors, compartments, battery operated screwdriver/drill, astronauts, multiple sections and pieces to put together and take apart. There are numerous things to learn, explore and imagine with this gem. The size of this toy alone is fun and it will provide enjoyment for years through different levels of development. I will keep a close eye as my little begins her play time with this toy perhaps even keeping parts of it for later as she gets a little older. Bag it all up each time so that all the pieces stay together. This is an educational tool with endless creative powers.

I love the concept of this toy - Getting kids hands on experience with tools and science is an excellent way to exercise their little brains! For my toddlers, this toy gets their minds and imaginations working in new and creative ways, exercising mental muscles to go on space adventures! Additionally, these toys permit us to help guide them through the use of practicing colors and numbers, which is also a fantastic benefit of this toy.

Given all of the above, this toy is generally fantastic. The only real concern we've had with it so far is that some of the pieces are a bit small, which does pose a potential choking hazard. As such, parents need to be present and watchful when this toy is in the mix. Additionally, these parts can be easily lost in the mix of routine play, which can result in an incomplete toy in a hurry!

Overall, this is an excellent educational toy that offers many terrific benefits, but its downsides hold it back from being a five star product. So, 4/5 stars it is!
