I wouldn't buy this if you have stuff you need to keep locked away from anybody determined, but if you just want to keep stuff locked so casual snoops won't look inside? This is fine, and while it's not "portable" you can move it around if need be.

The cabinet is large, heavy, sturdy. I got it in black, which didn't help with the assembly. It goes together with tiny screws, and the color made it hard to see. The directions are pictures, no written instructions, and a few times I had to take things back apart and tackle it again, as the pictures just didn't give you enough information. I am a 64 yr old woman. This is NOT a one person job! Overall, I got it done, but better directions would have went a long way to improve the process. I suggest a strong work light and at least one helper, I had two to aid in turning, holding bits and pieces, and hold that light right here! LOL I definitely would buy again.

The instruction manual does not provide easy-to-read instructions. It isn't apparent sometimes. I had to unscrew the parts several times to install correctly or match the holes. Also, some parts are a bit bent so it was tight to push in the parts while assembling.
