Value for money was acceptable, assembly was easy and intuitive, function could be better - it slides but is very light so a hard pull brings it up out of the track unless you tighten the top and bottom down, the springs have to be perfectly centered or the frame won't square up. I wish it were heavier, a bit more solid, and had rollers rather than just tracks for the money spent.
Have patience before starting!

I needed to replace my 48x80 screen door. The pre-built one at the hardware store wouldn't fit in my sedan, and delivery was $80, so thought I'd give this kit a try. At the end of the day, next time I'd pay the delivery fee or find a friend with a truck/minivan to have it delivered rather than dealing with the hassle of the kit.
The good:
- Right size
- Fast and easy customer service
- Easy install in track
The bad:
- Initial shipment had incorrect hardware (they sent a replacement packet)
- Door handle does not fit (decided I don't care and will use it without an official handle)
- Directions are not foolproof by any means. I am someone who regularly puts Ikea furniture together correctly the first time. The instructions for this leave a lot to be desired - perfectly clear if you've done it before, but not if it's your first one. Make sure you get the grooves all going the right way for the screen to slot in (this may be why my door handle doesn't fit, but too late now).
- Coating on door can get banged up easily - put something down if installing on driveway/cement.
- Your mileage may vary on how professional it looks. I'm not super patient and this is just for a walkout basement, so the screen is not super tight, trim is not perfect, etc.

I was apprehensive to buy this not gonna lie. I was scared when it didn't come in a big flat box- which meant assembly required. It went together very easily and is very sturdy. I anticipated having a hard time putting it on the track and getting it to slide properly. I thought it'd be like the one that came with the door. Was I ever wrong! It popped right in and slides so smoothly! To top it all off I didn't have to pay $300 like I was gonna spend on one.i am so glad I decided to take a chance and buy this one!
