To start off with, whenever we have company they cannot help but comment on this decoration of ours. They love it because it is so unique. The material is rather shiny/glossy and mine was multi colored. I honestly wanted this because it reminded me of a gummy bear. It has since stayed on display on our entertainment center. I would recommend it for a child also due to the piggy bank option. Honestly this is such a unique piece of art, a good one at that, I would say get it and stand out from your friends and family. The craftsmanship is very inspiring.

This bear is giant! It is also gorgeous. The plating looks smooth and the colors are vibrant. Strangely, this bear seems to be a piggy bank. I noticed it doesn't seem to be advertised as one and the pictures don't show it, but there is a slot in the back of the head that looks like it's for coins. However, there is no plug included with this bear to keep the coins in, so perhaps that is why?
