I really like the camera but I miss the low light vision that my other cameras have. I believe the spot light may encourage a trespasser to move on, but I miss the ability to check my property at night. You can pull up the camera at night but unless the area is illuminated you can't see anything. And when you turn the spotlight on I'm not sure you can see as well as with the low light version cameras. Not sure I'll ever need the siren.

I didn't expect much from this security camera because its looked pretty basic to me. However after starting to use it, I discovered that its sleek simple look was hiding a very good security device with many excellent functions. It can detect motions in a fairly wide range area. It can record the scene in total darkness (as shown in the last photo). It can sounds a loud siren and beam a brilliant strobe light. I love its intercom. Its wifi transmission is timely. It stored a lot of history as I was able to go back over 2 weeks of videos so far. Its battery is phenomenal as it lasted over 2 weeks from a single charge so far. It's also very easy to install. What else can one as for in a small security camera! Highly highly recommended.

I use my smart phone to run a few wifi apps, FitBit, Pandora, even Google Maps and typically I have to recharge my phone about every 2 days. Since installing the app I have been losing 10% charge per hour, even with everything (motion detection, notifications, microphone, speaker, light, location, etc..) turned off. You literally can watch the phone battery drain every few minutes. Let me be clear about this, the camera itself works great and the camera battery is still at 98% charge after a day. Out of all the apps I have ever used I have not experienced this type of drain. I have "force stopped the app" for now. Might return the camera. I will update if the situation improves....but beware! UPDATE!!! I restarted the APP a day later after turning off all permissions in the APP settings on the phone. Then I turned on one permission and option in the settings at about 1 hour intervals. By process of elimination I was able to get the camera working in the way I had expected: getting notifications of "human" motion detection and recording short video clips. I would have given the product 5 Stars except that there really isn't any easy to follow detailed setup instructions in video or in the manual. The FAQ addresses "fast power consumption" but that only applies to the camera itself- not how the APP can drain your phone.

Replaced an outdoor battery-powered Ring camera with this one due to the free cloud and SD card storage options. The image quality is great, however, I have one issue with the application.
The application doesn't have custom sound notifications for the camera. It only uses the default system alert. It also needs an option to override "Do not disturb" setting on phone. Will get 5-stars with this improvement.

so far so good it's a great security camera but my reason for rating it 4 stars is that you can't have it installed on multiple devices for monitoring. It can only be on 1 device at a time or shared with someone with another account so I could not test that as I am not interested in creating another account for now. Also, all human and animal detections are under AI and those are paid services so you only get motion detection for free, lastly, motion detection on the extreme far end of the cam is hit or miss but this will be pending on how you install your cam and how far away your far end is at.
