Depending on the manikin head, you use, you would need to be aware that you can't put too much weight on the top and the legs need to be supported. It will stand, however do not put a lot of weight on top. Use a canvas head or a head that has no bust, the lighter the better.

I needed this for a mannequin head that I am going to make wigs on. I liked this set because it came with extra pieces that I use to make the wigs. The stand itself is easy to use & it raises & lowers to all the sizes that I need makes it convenient to reach every part of the head I need to reach, especially since I don't always start in the same spot. I really like that this includes a carrying bag that makes this so much nicer to just store away wherever I need to because it makes it so much smaller. This is great to use to style, make, display, cut or color wigs & mannequin heads. It's great for cosmetologist but also everyone else as well.
