Bought this for my hubby who had been hinting he wanted one for a couple of years. He wanted one to push, and he's 73 so I didn't want to get a huge one. this one was perfect for him. he fills it up as full as he wants it and away he goes. he hasn't complained about any leaks or that it was complicated to put together so he's happy, therefore I'm happy. would buy again is he wanted another.

I would recommend a smaller model if you will be pushing it by hand. When filled with sand, this is too heavy to push/pull around the average yard. Having said that, I recommend this model for pulling with a lawn tractor. It is well built. I also recommend filling it with sand (4 bags of 1/2 cubic foot $5 each at Lowe's) due the heavier weight and less chance of internal rust vs filling with water. Tools for assembly and filling: 4 bags of sand, large volume funnel, two 1/2 inch wrenches, box cutter and needle nose pliers. All sand bags leak, so lay down something to catch it in your car if transporting it. Once assembled, it is difficult to fill because it won't stand up upright on its own and will move while filling. I fastened it to a fence in a place where sand spillage was easy to clean up. I recommend having something to rest the bags of sand in between loading up the funnel. I used an upside down garbage can. Filling with sand takes 45+ minutes and can be fatiguing to hold the heavy bag of sand for that amount of time. I hope that this information helps you. Good luck!
