I got the two pack assuming that we would need a backup one to the first. But that never happened. The first one we blew up at the beach actually held up for the week. We deflated it and took it home, but awe still have a new/unused one in case the first doesn't re-inflate when we go back. I haven't played with a beach ball in a long time but this provided a lot of enjoyment for our family - the toddler loved it, nostalgic for me, and was safe and light for the grandparents.

Edit - I added a star because these balls stay inflated so much longer than cheap beach balls! I've had it for a few weeks and have not needed to add any air. Our other small beach ball deflates over night and it's super annoying. My toddler LOVES this beach ball.

In my photo I'm comparing this large beach balls, to a regular beach ball. It's a lot bigger! It was difficult to inflate using my portable air pump because the attachment didn't fit snuggly inside the air hole thing. I had to pinch it just the right amount, to get it to inflate a little bit, but I ended up just getting frustrated and using my lungs. I also found that as soon as I removed my mouth from the air hole, air immediately started pouring out. A lot of beach balls and inflatable things have some kind of protection so the air doesn't pour out.
Overall this does what it says, and is what it is. I think a few design changes could improve the overall experience, but it's definitely usable for its intended purpose and I'm sure my son will love hitting it right over the fence lol
