Pros: Stylish, received many compliments; Ample room for laptop and accessories; Fit under plane seat.
Cons: Heavy to lift when needed; Stiff but that could improve with use.
Suggested improvement: Wish wheels were spinner or pivot. Would make maneuvering much easier.

Based on other reviews, I really hoped that it would be bigger than expected and it was, which was exactly what I needed...large enough to fit a 5" thick expansion folder stuffed full of files and documents. I have had a smaller one--didn't expect it was that small--but have toughed it out for years, standing my expansion folder on its end to get it all in. Have these big files for court work all the time. I could do that easily with this one as it's even a bit wider. And this briefcase is sturdy to stand on its own and not tip over (with the handle hitting my shin) like the old one did.

I took out the laptop sleeve which is fixed with velcro and now I can fit a file that big, plus a couple of more things, and my laptop and cords--probably can't zip it up but it still all fits and it stays sturdy and grounded....no tipping.

The ONLY two reason I am giving it less than 5 stars is that the color of this one is just a tad orange for me. It's good, but it's not as brown as I thought, so it's not as neutral a business a color as I wanted, AND while it does have the small outside zipper pocket on the handle (that can fit a pen or two, paper clips and a few business cards), the bag could have had one more outside pocket on the front, to fit slightly bigger things that would have made it perfect.
The two pockets on the side are helpful as I can stuff a mouse or small water bottle in each, but I could still have used one more front pocket.

Funny I was going to take another star off since the handle was too short when I first used it, but alas I just hadn't pulled it out all the way, and once I did, which was smooth and easy, it's perfectly long too. So overall it's really a great bag. Maybe if the color thing is of concern to you, pick another color. There seems to be a lot of variety for this type of bag.

One of my absolute favorite gifts to myself. This bag looks amazing and has saved my back! I use this bag weekly for day travel and overnight traveling. I use it anytime I need more "take along items" than just my purse. It is my absolute "go to bag" as it elegantly holds my purse, laptop, reader, charging items, a change of clothes and toiletries for overnights - plus a bottle water for the road. Now that is a bag I can fall in love with! The lush burgundy interior is stunning as are the bright gold tone accents throughout - zippers, pulls, rings and snaps. At the bottom of the bag there are wheels on one side that are articulated so they can go any direction as long as the bag is tilted to move. The other nice feature is that the bag does not swivel away from you as you are using it due to the other two stabilizing features. The pockets on the inside and out are generous in number and size keeping me organized. Great value for the product. Super useful for busy Moms, professionals on the go, or for a night out!
