My wife says: Water behind my sink is an ongoing annoyance, having to dry around the faucet every time I use the water. We had to cut the end off of this splash guard because our RO water tap was in the way, but it's doing the job nicely, allowing the water to drain back into the sink. It's so hard to find one that fits right, since some faucets are round and some are square, and everyone's spacing is different between the faucet and the backsplash, but this one did the job.

this did not fit my sink but i didn;t check any dimensions or anything and my sink has a thick faucet base and a kind of "lip" going all around the actual sink so it doesn't quite fit right. I think i could probably cut the hole a little bigger and it might awkwardly fit. but if you have a big faucet and the back sink surface isn't flat, this may not be a perfect fit. but it seems sturdy and well made and it's my fault for not checking first to make sure it fits.

I have used several versions of these and recommended them to friends and family. This one is double the size of all the others I have used so be sure to take note of the dimensions and factor that into your needs and aesthetics. I do really like the fitting around the faucet has several rings that make it easy to cut to the size of your faucet. It also has elevated ridges that help everything to drain and uses to drain spouts to accommodate a dual sink. It is well made of durable silicone and looks good.

I love my new sink. I read the reviews first and saw that there were some issues with not having the right parts, parts not fitting, etc., but I would be using a professional to install it. I found out that the sink doesn't come with adequate parts if your sink is attached to a disposal, but luckily the plumber had those parts on hand. I found a very reasonable plumber via Thumbtack, so I still ended up paying less than if i had bought something similar from a big box store because I'm not handy, so I would have had it installed regardless. I recommend this sink!

This mat is a great idea! It's thick enough to be effective. Unfortunately, it's hard to customize and most sinks will need some kinda of customization - like mine. We also have a filtered water faucet that a mat like this does not accommodate for. So, I improvised by adding my own hole. I did a terrible job lol. It's useable but I expect to have to replace it soon. The good news is that I'll replace with the exact same thing as the product concept is great! Even with my butchered version it's been helpful keeping my counter and backsplash dry. Finally a good place to put my sponge!
