Very efficient telescope for outdoor activities.

This is everything we expect for a decent solar scope . I would like to add good pictures later on the partial Eclipse we were able to see in New Mexico. One needs to turn the lens a bit to see the sun but it does work well. Two things we found attracted is the quality of body and lens. This is a heavy duty unit that you dont typically get this price.- It is about 20 pounds after setup. There is great protection cover for the lens and we cann't wait to bring it for camp.
Added: We used It on a wide sunny day on some mountain view and we were super impressed about the pictures. It was was easy to level on soil or concrete without any motion. A few sunspots were observed were super clear and we did not thought this is observable on a telescope of this grade . Definitely loving it.

Great for moon

Works great for the moon. I used the Lowest(25mm) lens with the 3X adaptor for the images taken.
The focus is easy to adjust, but I would suggest focusing on a skyline mountain to get an understanding of which direction is far and which direction is near.
I am not experienced with telescope so I have not tried the high magnification lens for Jupiter or other planets that are further than the moon. From what I have seen, the higher magnification lenses are a bit small for the size of the view. Therefore it might be trickier to use it.
High end smartphones with auto lens switches are not easy to use for this, because it will automatically change the lens and result in a dark image. All images taken above are using a Sony camera, since my S23 Ultra continues to do that. I would suggest to use an additional tripod for the camera if you want stable image, all images below are taken with hand handheld camera, therefore they are not as clear as what I see with my eyes.
One pity is that the smaller telescope on the top cannot be aligned. The one I got is slightly off, which makes it harder for me to locate a planet.
