Light weight foam core board.

This is some light weight foam core board. It comes well packaged in a cardboard box so that it arrives without damage. The bundle inside is also wrapped with bubble wrap. It is a good bright white and has a nice smooth surface. It is also of a pretty standard dimension of 20" x 30". It is thinner than the foam core I usually get. The outer layers are more like paper and not the cardstock which is normally on foam core. I found myself easily pushing through the surface with a sharp pencil. I found that I can easily cut completely through it with one cut using a sharp X-Acto blade. With more normal foam core I wouldn't ever attempt that. I would do three cuts. Once through the top card, once through the foam layer, and then a final through the bottom card layer.
Price wise it is about the same price as other brands, although with this being a lot less durable and thinner, it's probably a bit more expensive in the long run.

These are fine quality foam boards at an affordable price. The packaging is very good with corner guards and bubble wrap to protect the boards. The customer service of this company, if needed, is exceptionally good.

I use a lot of foam core when it is time to mount photos for competition at the state fair. For that competition, details matter -- if the foam core is warped, dented, corners crushed, or the like, the competition is so fierce that these sorts of detractions from perfect presentation can be the difference between a blue and red ribbon.
This foam core was VERY well packaged, complete with bubble wrap and corner protect. I also measured the thickness of the foam core. Even though thickness is not something that I worry about (just so it's not far off, and uniform), this foam core was spot on as I was taking random measurements with my dial calipers.
All in all, this was a great purchase.
