We bought this TV for our bedroom and the picture and features were all we have grown to expect from a TCL/Fire TV. My only grouse is there is no 5G it seems, really a 2023 model TV with no 5G!!! Because of this it took many hours to download and activate all the options we regularly use and at least one of our services often does not want to stream on 4G. Dammit.
The Bluetooth feature was a selling point as I often watch TV late at night using headphones and bought an inexpensive sound bar with a subwoofer for those times we want better bigger sound. Once these are paired anytime I turn on either device the TV automatically connects and disables the set speakers, very convenient. The remote uses the same familiar Fire format so all the buttons are natural to fins, I really do like this.
Sound is important to me and the onboard speakers are about average, okay for casual viewing but not for music or louder movies and such. The optical out worked on some apps but not on others namely Netflix so I have to connect our sound bar by Bluetooth which works but is not optimal.

The TV works as intended. The apps are responsive and there is a wide range of options available.
My only two issues are with the Hulu app and the YouTube app.
Occasionally the Hulu app has issues where it will not allow me to access any user while logged in. I can scroll on the screen but when I select a name nothing happens. The only way I'm able to fix this is by force stopping the app through the app managment in the TV settings.
Sometimes the YouTube app will crash during a video without warning.

I have had this 2 weeks now and I am pleased with this TV. A 65" TV for under $380. is amazing for this quality. I am not tech savey about bites and bits and pixals but I think the picture is very good. The color is bright and clear. The sound is also to my liking because I'm not adjusting it for every show. We stream and have access to thousands of shows so the sound does need to be turned up or down sometimes. We do not play games with it so I cannot comment on that feature. It weighs almost 50 pounds so you will probably need a extra set of hands to move it safely. I was worried I would be unhappy with it and the quality would be reflected by the price, but that has not been the case. I am very satisfied with this TV.

...AND it works and looks GREAT. Amazon delivery was perfect. Packaging was stellar. Set Up Was A Breeze. Connected to the internet seamlessly. Plugged the HDMI cable into Direct Stream box and then into HDMI on my TCL 65" and Voila, streaming football game between OSU & Michigan...FABULOUS. $382 with tax, can't beat it as this is all I need. I have a SONY 5.1 Surround System connected to it for sound but did listen to the built in speakers from TCL and it is passable. If you don't want OR need all the bells and whistles, OLED or QLED and Mini LED, this is a worthwhile investment. If it craps out in 5 years, no biggie. By then, technology will be far advanced, right? Good Luck and ENJOY Life.
