While it is easy to use, I'm realizing that there are common situations where you may not experience noticeable usefulness with this. I've been using this for hours in a closed room (windows/doors closed) after the windows were open with 90%+ humidity outside.
It makes a fair amount of noise, having it in the same room as you can be annoying. If you're expecting the room to feel cooler, it produces some heat so you may not feel a difference in the room. While it does trap moisture, the speed that it does this is not great. In conclusion, unless you are struggling with allergies or mold you may not notice a difference.
