This arbor was purchased for a wedding and is only going to be temporary. I expected there to be missing parts and was happy to see that all the parts were there. Unfortunately there were 2 parts that seem to be for another style of arbor since the holes were drilled in a completely different configuration than what was needed. I will need to purchase a 1/2 inch drill bit and drill new holes. Luckily I will be using a drape that should hide the old holes. If I was wanting to permanently install the arbor, I would have asked for replacement parts. The arbor is very easy to assemble and sturdy enough for my purpose. Be prepared to drill pilot holes before inserting the screws.
I am a handy 75 year old woman and I was able to assemble and install this arbor without help.

For me, this was very easy to put together. Less than an hour. I pretty much snapped the entire thing together, and then reinforced it with the screws. It's perfect for what I wanted; I have a climbing rose that can hang onto it. It looks good. It's true, as someone else said, that it doesn't seem super sturdy when you put it together. But, I thought that about some resin fencing I put up 10 years ago, and it's still standing. I would definitely use some quick cement to anchor it.
UPDATE "” I am updating this about 7 years later. The item has been standing in my yard now for 8 or 9 years. It's still standing strong and upright. Over the years, it's withstood at least 2 major hurricanes and a tornado. Still looks new. 5 stars, still.

I placed mine in an non permanent area because I'm still deciding. However, my 12 year old assembled it. So, you'll be okay doing it. It's perfect and tall. Perfect for the vines that will eventually grow over. Worth the $100.
