These little toys are fun to play with. Every single one of them in this large pack wound and hopped! I was pleasantly surprised that there were no duds. My kids liked up 3 at a time and raced! Santa and the bee are the fastest out of our box.

I remember those little wind-up toys that did flips, spun around, walked on their hands, etc. etc. very fondly. I wanted to start a collection so badly back in the early eighties, but even then they were hard to find.
I saw these, and thought, "I GOTTA have 'em! Thirty-TWO? WOW!" They definitely didn't look as intricate or detailed or as well made with the same good quality materials as when I was in my twenties, but heck, that was almost a half century ago!
I was pleased with these. There's a good variety of animals and other figures, there are four actions possible for them to make, which they did as specified. Just not as well, and not for as long as I remember.
But then, the past a lot of times is remembered with rose colored glasses. I was going to give these guys 3 stars, but because I'm comparing them to a long ago memory, I added one more.
If I had to come up with only one word to convey my opinion, it would be "FUN" just the same.

These are excellent treasure box items;They are eye-catching and vibrant. They appear to be quite sturdy. To see whether I could overwind and break one that way, I attempted to do so. The fact that they are uniquely shaped and packaged is a bonus. These are a steal at their price of a buck or less each.
After fully winding five of them, I held them between my fingers and timed how long it took them to unwind. Two of them lasted 24 seconds, two lasted 21 seconds, and the longest of the five lasted barely 6 seconds. I was a little let down because I assumed it would take them longer to wind down.
Overall, these would make a great novelty reward or stocking stuffer for younger children. They are lovely, well-made, and robust. I wish they would keep going for more than a minute or two at a time. Keep in mind that the quality is not great and they will end up breaking after a couple of uses.

This is a decent set of windup toys. They all work, and the mechanics are good. I'd say about a third of them are a little too weird for goodie bags. A random purple something that says "wow" and a bunny riding a chicken ... A good set, but I'd prefer to not be sorting through which are normal enough for goody bags and which are just a bit too odd. These would be good for someone trying to set a record for most unique large collection of windup toys .... not the best if you're trying to get a set where every goody bag contains a windup toy that is cute enough on its own. But, what you see is what you get. So look at the product photo and decide for yourself. Again, the mechanics work well.
