This is not anything like a complete tool. It is the foundation for a router workstation for any miniature to small parts work. You must build the tool system you want or need for your kind of projects. If you working with larger parts you will want to recess it into a larger work surface with a more conventional router table fence, either purchased or shop-made. This is what I intend, so I got it without the small fence and miter gauge (offered as a slightly higher priced package). I did order the matching router lift and it fits perfectly.
It has some issues and limitations of course. The description suggests that it will fit most small trim routers... Not true! It will not fit most brand name routers sold in the U.S. without drilling and countersinking new mounting holes. It will fit the 'Rocky 30' routers sold here by MLCS, as well as some east Asian made routers sold on Amazon. I already have the 'Rocky 30' system and am using that. Bit diameter is limited to less than 1 1/4 inches (about 32 mm). but that is probably as big as most trim routers should safely handle. The recess around the bit opening look like it's made for a guide bushing, but don't be fooled, it isn't! The clearance rings supplied are too thin for that recess and will need to be shimmed to achieve a flush surface. The bottom line is that I will build a bench-top router station for small work for less than the cost of a decent router lift for one of my full size routers.
