Sturdy corner clamps

These are really sturdy clamps made from aluminum. These clamps are on the smaller side and work perfectly for smaller cabinetry. Both 45 & 90 degree are equally easy to setup. The clamps hold tight and securely. All the parts on this set are well constructed and don't have any sharp edges. The laser etched numbering is crisp and clear. Overall these are good set of smaller sized corner clamps.

These are very nice corner clamps. They are a little bit more expensive than others. You can get a set of two 90 degree metal corner clamps here on Amazon for under $30. You can get 90 and 45 degree for under $40. These do have 90 and 45 so I guess they are in the ballpark. These do have a lip that will help them sit in the corner at the edge. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing. I think it will help in some situations and be in the way for others.

The media could not be loaded. Not a bad set, and quite different from the rest. I do like the ability to use for 45º work. They are very accurate for the price. The knobs are cheap, but those are easily replaceable. All in all a good one to look at.

The product was well packaged to prevent damage as can be seen in my first photo. The product description is accurate, even if disappointing since there are only two clamps being provided. It would be great if this were a four-clamp set.
You will either love or hate the offset edge or "lip" on these clamps. I admit that if you require your clamps to be inside the joint and not at an outside edge, these clamps will not work for you.
However, for me, I think the offset edge is a great idea since it eliminates the awkwardness of aligning the clamps into position while attempting to tighten them. In my second photo you can see that the clamp rests on the top edge of my project corner, making it very easy to tighten.
It may take time for you to get used to using this style of clamping system but if you try it, I think you will love it.
One improvement I would like to see is a storage case. While the foam packaging is great for shipping, it makes it awkward for accessing the parts for use while working on a project.

The 90º angle is the one we tested, and it worked well. The lip helped keep it in place, but we did it on the shelf of a cabinet. If you needed it on the inside of a drawer, you'd be in trouble because the lip would interfere. So it would not be useful in an enclosed space "“ only on the edge of the wood. It squared up easily, and the notches for the clamps are convenient and make the task easier.
My husband has made a few birdhouses, and I think the 45º angle will be helpful for him with the roof portion of the birdhouse.
He loved these. I love them because I can use them even though I'm not a woodworker and don't really know what I'm doing. Some of the repair tasks will be easy for me to handle when he's out of town.
The price seems fair to me compared to the price of other clamps I've gotten for him in the past.
