The tape sticks well at the bottom of the tub. It was perfect for that area. It was a little hard to maneuver around the toilet so I didn't use it there.

Once you put this in place, you can pull it off, but it will leave adhesive behind. It's definitely going do adhere.
Two things that I did not like:
It's a weird shade of white - it almost has a bluish undertone. So it stands out against my white sink.
The adhesive does not quite reach the edge of the strip. There is about an eighth of an inch that does not have adhesive, which could accumulate grime and gross crusty things.

I'll start by saying it does work but it doesn't look anything like the picture when it's used. There is no way I found to make it look good. I tried and failed numerous times. I just gave up and cut it into smaller pieces to fit around the toiled.

after I bought this, additional work in the bathroom was done and so I have postponed the instalation, but I did set up for it and it's going to be fine. Things llike this trim must be stripped off and fresh one reinstalled after a bit....just guessing. But worth it.

What I did not like about this product is that the advertising picture alluded to a just unroll tape and stick it. There is a peel away backing component to it which added a awkward element to the application. I used this item to surround the base of a toilet in a camper which had limited access to visibly see entire base. the peeling away of backing added to the difficulty. I do like the end result though.
