It's surprised me not to see a power brick or a phone charger. but the the cord to run it from anything that has a USB port like phone charger to the thing itself works fine I just didn't want to overload mine by using a different source then recommend it. But I have a lot of electronics so finding it or ordering a phone charger or power supply wasn't hard but it would have been nice to know the power that was recommended on the instructions were on the box itself and what type charge needed to power. was included but that's small thang. It also to ask that you don't hook its power to your TV to the Stick running from the TV to stick itself because the power supply could overload or damage it.( But according to the instructions. It supports this power unit 5V / 2A 5V / 1a5v / 0.5A to power the stick. and the tip that goes to the stick to power it on is use a micro phone charger.) But it runs great. It came with a little device called a receiver. i had to push it in to the stick. this hooked up fine to my wireless controllers it looks exactly like you would use for a wireless mouse in a CPU without the receiver the wireless controllers can't connect. the controllers take 2 AAA batteries and can't be charged like the ps4 controller now and days witch was fine. It also came with a cord that I think it's an HDMI extender which was lovely because the stick is big and wouldn't fit in my TV normally but with the extender I could plug the HDMI part of the stick into the cord and then hook up the part HDMI to my TV which was a blessing
