I didn't realize it came with batteries so I had bought some new ones and thankfully I did because the ones it came with were to low for this meter to work right. So, if you are buying I'd get new batteries for it. Other than that, for the price this thing works great 👠I like it. If your needing a low price meter I'd definitely recommend this one. I'm using to measure the light my plants are getting and it's helped me alot with that
