The biggest downside to this sprinkler is that it tends to tip over a decent amount. But if you get it standing pretty solidly before you turn the water on, it will probably be fine. So far we haven't had any issues with this leaking from the connection point or anything. If your kids love running around in water/sprinklers this will probably be a hit.
