I was getting ready to buy a "SmartRack" which is a triangle without the base line or piece. It still requires touching the balls for a good rack. I came across this one and knew it was the best to be found. Got it today and tested it out. Works perfectly. No touching of billiard balls. Pure genius.

This is one of those products where you ask yourself "how didn't someone think of this sooner?" Full transparency: this was invented by my grandfather and turned into a product by my uncle"”both very talented!

After the first batch of these were produced, my uncle mailed one up to see what I thought. Though he didn't solicit my review on here, I feel compelled after opening and feeling the thing out for myself. My impression at first glance, seeing it was made of plastic, was to think of all the low-quality cheap plastic products produced for pennies overseas where the parts fall off after minimal use. However, after lifting the product out of the packaging and testing the mechanism, I found it was light-weight, but incredibly solid. It's one of those "they don't make em like this anymore" products. I don't know for certain, but I surmise you wouldn't ever have to buy a replacement "EZ Rack" over the course your lifetime other than to accommodate more pool tables.

This rack works perfectly as advertised. I would recommend this product to anyone who has arthritis or any problems with their hands. Extremely simple to use for everyone.
