This book had a strange premise to it. The idea of Doppleganger/mimics being murderous was something I've never read before. I did feel like the torture parts of the book were drawn out while the rest of the story was fast paced, I would have liked it a lot more if it was longer. Great book though.

This book is a no holds bar-terror driven throat ripper. If you like "˜"˜em raw and bleeding all over your hands then this is for you. Don't believe me go ahead and buy it. But this is my only warning read it with the lights on. Trust me you'll be glad you did. This is my Father's Day present that I'm glad to have received.

This book is nuts and so gory. So many insane kills and torture. Head the warning in the beginning of the book this book is not for the faint of heart. There is so much torture and just vile things throughout the perfect extreme horror book. This was debut I repeat a debut book so I can only imagine what will come next for this talent author. Chef kiss.

This book is DISGUSTING. This book is DEPRAVED. This book is EVERYTHING.

This book genuinely shocked me. The writing is incredible and the story is so unique. I loved everything about this book, but mostly THE GORE. Some of the scenes in this book had me (a seasoned extreme horror reader who doesn't react to much) absolutely SQUIRMING. This is not for people brand new to the genre, but if you think you can handle it, this is a MUST READ.

Also, did I mention this is a DEBUT??? I will read everything Mique writes, no doubt about it.

Great extreme horror debut! I was drawn into the story and absolutely disgusted by certain parts, which of course is the point. I loved how unnerving the atmosphere was in the beginning, that drew me in initially. Really great descriptions from the author as well. Would recommend for a quick and sickening read.
