So I own and operate a small tree business. Stihl and Echo are my top go to chainsaws for groundwork and for climbing. Stihl top handle has been on top of the game for a while now. But let me tell you when I bought this just to test it out I was so surprised that it completely tore it up performance-wise. Crazy thing is it's my go-to when I climb now. The part where I'm a little disappointed is that it sprays bar oil from the place where it's supposed to oil, but a lot more than it should. It sprays everywhere. Extremely disappointed in that. I cleaned it checked all parts that should be checked and still doing it. Other than that it's less than half the price of a leading top handle climb saw with just the same or maybe even more performance. If it wasn't for the bar oil spraying everywhere it would have got five stars.

I did not expect much from this chainsaw when I ordered it. I just wanted something small and light for my wife to use. It arrived well packaged and on time. It was easy to assemble and came with a small tool kit containing everything need for the assembly. It started on the second pull and runs and cuts excellent. I have used it for a total of 16 hours now with zero issues and still using the chain it came with. I sharpen the chain every second time I refill the fuel. If this product continues to perform like it has so far it should last for many years.
The only negative that I can come up with is that it can be hard to restart when it is hot. This can most likely be fixed with a carb adjustment, but I don't see the point when it performs so well as is. An extra 4 or five pulls is no big deal.

I didn't expect too much with a $159 chainsaw, and I got about what I expected. Fair build quality but a couple annoyances. First off, assembly was a pain in the ass, getting the bar and the bar cover on took 15 minutes. Then when I filled it with fluids it immediately began leaking bar oil all over the shed. After that, it started up and does a fine job. I can hold it with one hand and cut limbs, and my wife (who won't touch my MS391) will even use it.
