Successful Connection with the 8bitdo Mod Kit for the OEM N64 Controller
Moses Barbera✓ Verified Purchase•October 1, 2023
I had bought the 8bitdo Mod Kit for an OEM N64 Controller because I wanted to turn an OEM N64 Controller into a blue tooth wireless controller. I needed to buy an adapter to use it on an original N64. They did sell a blue tooth adapter but they always sell out quickly. Luckily, I found the Blue Retro Wireless Controller Adapter here on Amazon. I did have some doubts at 1st but when I connected it, it was able to easily connect to my now wireless OEM N64 controller. If you used the 8bitdo Mod Kit of an oringianl N64 controller and want to use that controller on your original N64, this is a must grab.
Works Great

Adapter works great with the NSO N64 controller. It was a hassle to setup the memory card but once I got it setup, it worked fine. I tried this adapter and another adapter and I liked this one better so I bought 2 more. All 4 adapters seem to work fine at once and I don't notice any interference or any other issues.
Surprisingly works for my PS5 controller.

I've been using the PS5 controller for my Xbox One with the Brooke adapter I bought for it. Wanted to use it for my N64, and it took a while for me to get itnto work. I was able to play an N64 repro of Zelda: Ocarina of Time-Master Quest, and it surprizingly works as if it was an N64 controller. It even vibrates for games that has a rumble feature. Ganondorf's castle crumbling in a cutscene made me realize that first hand. Now I know what I'm playing with for any N64 game... waiting on the GameCube adapter, expecting similar results.

Works great, updated the firmware with my chrome browser and I can use my switch online n64 controller and my 8bitdo n64 mod kit with all the buttons mapped correctly.
Just what you need to play N64 wireless!

Very easy to use. It comes with a small booklet manual which explains, very friendly, how to pair each controller, activate the Memory Pak and update the Firmware. Yes, you can use the original Switch Online N64 Controller, including it's rumble feature, you just press the "home button" to change between Rumble Pak and Memory Pak.
