A nice scale tank with 1 big flaw

This tank is nicely detailed with realistic features. The transmitter has plenty of different buttons to control the tank at different speeds and turning functions. The turret can be aimed precisely by moving it up and down and left and right. It drives very realistic to how a real tank should drive. This would've been 5 stars however at the current price everything should work and unfortunately the firing feature did not. When you depress the firing buttons the tank makes a very realistic firing motion and sound and the red warning light goes off as the tank appears to jolt back as if it firing real shells---very cool feature! ...However the provided yellow bullets get jammed and do not fire properly. It used to fire the bullets randomly when I held the firing buttons down, but now they don't fire at all. This is using new bullets as the instructions state not to use previously fired ones. I cleared the jam several times to no avail, it does all the motions and sounds like its firing, but nothing shoots out. Here's a tip- to clear the jammed bullets- flip the tank upside down and press the fire buttons continuously until the bullets fall out while upside down. Still trying to figure out a fix, but right now its very frustrating trying to get that feature to work!

My nephew loved this! It is so big, it is really a tank! A little pricey for what you get, maybe... Shoots tiny airsoft bb's which is a real plus with the boys! It has cool functions and he has a lot of fun with it, however there is a limit to the fun.... After about 45 minutes he tends to get a little bored as there is only so much a remote control tank can do. I would probably recommend is the price were a bit lower.
Big hit with the kiddos, has a few flaws.

My son LOVES this tank, and had a lot of fun using it on the deck. Its realistic, and the controls on the remote were good enough that he could figure it out after a bit of trial and error. It rolls around pretty good, and the kids had a blast chasing each other with it.
The firing feature, however, is hit or miss. Its the entire reason we got the tank, and its biggest selling feature. The bullets get jammed often ,and sometimes it just refuses to shoot for a bit. We cant figure out why, whether ours is a dud or not, but its a bit of a let down. He still had fun controlling it though, so its not a huge loss, just probably not worth the high price tag.

This toy is a great gift for a older/teen child. It does shoot air soft pellets, so take that into thought. It moves well and climbs firmly packed dirt at a good incline. I have two so we battled with balloons tied to them. That was fun but they needed to be blown up pretty big to pop. It didn't do too well in thick grass so I think you need to stick to flatter surfaces. We had super fun with it.

For the price (at the time, $80) it doesn't quite live up to another tank i have that was $90. This one however can shoot airsoft bb's (I don't think they are airsoft size, a bit smaller and cheap, didn't try real ones), and in terms of moving like a tank - it's pretty cool. I am just a little let down on the controller - it is pretty cheap feeling, but not the end of the world. I'm not expecting to role into any countries or neighbors yards any time soon with this thing, but it definitely makes a fun toy to break out here and there (especially with smaller kids).
