Alichino Fly Fishing Flies Kits Wet & Dry Trout Flies Sets.
This is a nice assortment of flies. I'm not a pro fly fisherperson, so I can't really make an in depth assessment of this kit but it looks great to me. I splurged and got the 90 piece kit, with the double sided box. The box is nice and secure by the way, and it's nice to be able to see which ones are in there. We don't have any trout in our ranch ponds but we do have largemouth bass, and they hit flies very well. I have tied some of my own flies in the past with varying results, but one thing I know is that it is a time consuming endeavor. So 90 flies, for around $36 is a bargain. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I'm a beginner fly fisherman-so this is great for me.

I'll begin by saying that I'm new to fly fishing... So my experience is quite Limited. However, in my opinion these appear to be good quality flies, at a very reasonable price. You receive a lot of them, so you have a nice variety to choose from... And the included case is very nice.
Again, I'm no expert... I'm new to fly fishing, but not new to fishing... I know a decent flash last jig when I see one, and I'd say that these are good quality especially for the low asking price. I'd buy them again.

Let's be honest "“ I'm still an unskilled beginner at fly fishing, and I need a lot more practice. This assortment of flies is exactly what I've needed. A nice variety of quality flies that will keep me on the water and busy for the rest of the season. The plastic case will be refilled and reused for many seasons after I've lost or destroyed this initial inventory of flies. And who knows "“ once I get the hang of casting I might even catch a few fish.
Good assortment for the beginner fly fisherman

This is a nice assortment of flies.
My partner has been fishing since childhood, but hasn't done much fly fishing (and I'm a complete novice at it). Having this kit has allowed us to practice with a good range of different lures, without having to spend all the extra time in tying flies.
That's great--it gets us out on the boat, or into our waders in the river. In our area, some spots are off-limits to all but fly fishing so this will be a great addition to the tackle box. The case these come in is nice and compact, so it's easy to find a spot in your kit for them.
Recommended.

I rarely fish for trout and likely will use these flies for panfish and possibly carp. The white and black ones should work well on crappies. I like the case, and the orange rim appears to be silicone and should help keep it waterproof and also float.
I agree with one reviewer who wrote the following: "Disappointingly, the eggs might not be able to hook fish because the egg is quite firm and the hook is small leaving a gap of only about 1/16 inch." One can use a sharp scissors to trim back the egg a bit to leave a larger hook gap (first photo with the original egg on the left and a trimmed egg on the right).
This would make a good gift for most fly fishermen and also for anglers who enjoy catching panfish. One does not need to be a fly fisherman to make good use of this set. Although I have two fly rods, I'll more likely use these with a spinning rod and a bobber. It takes up little space and could make the day more enjoyable if the bass, pike, or walleyes are off their feed.
