I harvest honey in larger quantities that get stored in 55 gallon drums. This stainless paddle helps me stir the honey when warmed to decrystalize if the drums are stored for a long time. The sturdiness of this paddle can not be overstated. It would be great for large dough batches I am sure, so it easily worse warm honey. The paddle mend is fuse welded so there is no way for any liquid to penetrate cracks or crevices because there aren't any.

I like to brew beer with my friends on occasion, and up until now, we've been using a pretty cheap large plastic spoon for stirring the mash and wort. There was nothing particularly wrong with that spoon, but it was a bit bendy sometimes and the spoon part wasn't very conducive to actually stirring. It's not like I was actually using the spoon part of anything anyways.
This paddle spatula is great though. The paddle on the end isn't huge, so it's not unwieldy or anything like that, but it's just enough to help stir large pots easily, especially when trying to cool to wort. The large handle also helps if you're working near the ground, so you won't have to bend over as much.It's just a nice large spatula that will help make stirring easier and that's all I really need.
