Oh, this chair is your pretty basic bouncing chair. The babies movement is what moves the chair itself. I have noticed that a lot of these bouncy seats are going towards that idea so I can't say much about it. I do miss the days where they vibrated and rock themselves but I guess those are what the more expensive units are for these days. This is similar to a pretty popular brand that is out there right now however, I would argue that the quality is probably not as great obviously. With my children, we have only use these for a short amount of time and only short periods within that time each day. It's most often used when I need to go to the kitchen and cook or take a shower and need to put the baby down. If you're going to use this a ton, I would advise getting something a little sturdier. For the amount that we use it, it's perfect and it will last a great amount of time. The fabric feel sturdy, and I don't think we'll have a problem with it. I did have a little trouble with the buttons in the middle catching. My husband messed around with it for a while and it seems to be fixed. I think the price point may be a weed bit high, but I also think that is comparable to some of the other things on the market right now and overall I'm very happy and we will be using it.

Bought another one but after using it a few times you need to be careful when it's on the lowest setting as it may seem like it's clicked into place but may not be. Still a good purchase but make sure the chair is clicked into place.

Ordered this to have for our friend's newborn when they visit. One less thing they need to pack to come hang out. It works great and their son is very comfortable in it. Only criticism is the instructions and assembly. Took way too much effort to figure it out and the instructions did little to help.

Otherwise, it's a nice seat and it keeps him secure, comfortable, and entertained while he's in it.

I didn't buy a bouncer until my baby was 7 weeks as I couldn't decide which one to get. My sister-in-law has a $200 bouncer and I can say with complete confidence, this bouncer is just as good!! Best money I've spent yet! Definitely worth it, and I'm happy to suggest this to anyone!!!
