The MED PRIDE Petroleum Jelly is a large container of petroleum jelly that arrives safety sealed and has the manufacturered date and expiration date clearly printed on the bottom. The one I received has expiration of 3+ years out, plus I've used other brands longer because I don't think it really goes bad for awhile. It seems to work just like the well known brand name.

Petroleum Jelly much like you'd expect "“ slick and smooth and with a mild and pleasant flowery fragrance. It feels good on the skin and behaves pretty much as any petroleum jelly that I've used. I use it for long hikes between my toes to reduce blisters. But there are myriad uses and I'm sure you have your own. Recommended.

I dislike the smell of petroleum jelly. I always buy the scented one's and usually it's Vaseline brand. I use a lot of it and can get costly so I decided to try Medpride. Reviews were good. I am pleased to say that I also agree with the good reviews. It is just a little thinner and does have a faint petroleum smell however for the cost/quantity I'll accept it. It seems to work exactly as the costly brand I've used for decades. Really wished they offered subscribe/save!

This 8 oz. jar arrived with plastic sealing around the lid, and foil under the lid for security and safety.
The doctor who takes care of my actinic keratosis/skin cancer wants me to put petroleum jelly on the wounds after I clean them. It takes just a little so a jar this size will easily outlast the expiration date. The fact that is has aloe vera and Vitamin E seems like a bonus, and the petroleum jelly doesn't seem to have as much as an industrial smell as the name brand does. It also seems to be a little more solid, so it doesn't go on quite as goopy.
