Updating on a previous review. Used all 8 sticks at this point. Tried on California cab, merlot, and a red blend. Despite loving it, I am one to get the "sleepy headache" associated with wine. Using this stick by putting it into a glass of red after letting it fully breathe, and mixing it around a bit prior to drinking, fully prevented the normal effects. It does not need to be left in like the advertising pictures suggest, but if you want to, go for it. Great option if you want to drink socially but avoid any unwanted physical side effects. Probably will buy again.
