This pedometer is so much more basic than others I've owned. I like that it literally only has one purpose; to count steps. It doesn't have a clock or any other "fancy" options.
One thing I found lacking was that the clip to keep the pedometer attached to you or your clothing, was not very tight, it kept falling off of my pants. I finally resorted to carrying the pedometer in my pocket.
If carrying a pedometer in your pocket or on a lanyard around your neck is a preferred way of using a the pedometer, this unit is for you!

The main reason I ordered this particular pedometer, was it said it comes with a lanyard.
It does not.
It doesn't matter if it's accurate or not if I'm unable to use it.
Buyer beware- not as advertised.

This pedometer is very basic - just counts your steps. Period. And that's all I wanted. No desire to be connected to any app just to keep track of my movement each day. The pedometer is a perfect, slim size to put in a pocket, or can be worn with a lanyard or clipped to clothing. The numbers are dark and large, making it very easy to read. I'm perfectly happy with this pedometer and will be glad to again keep track of my steps each day. The price is right too!

I ordered this because I wanted to start keeping track of how much I walk each day. It does a pretty good job of that if you are going for a deliberate walk but it doesn't fit my need particularly well.
The pedometer has a feature which does not count steps unless I take at least 9 in a row so it I get up and only take 8 steps to the kitchen and stop to do something there before walking another 8 steps back to the chair, this pedometer will not count any of those 16 steps. Because of this, a lot of the steps I take during the day do not get counted and I don't get an accurate count at the end of the day.
I do like the fact that it is fairly small and can be carried in the pocket or around the neck on a lanyard. There is also a clip included which can be used to clip the unit to your clothes or belt. I tried using it but it came loose and fell off 2 times when I had it clipped to the waistband of my pants. Fortunately I was in the house both times or I might have lost it completely so I would not rely on the clip to hold it in place while you are out walking.
It uses a common battery but I wish it had a lithium battery with USB charging instead of the CR2032 alkaline battery.
I gave it 4 stars because it will work well for most people even though it is not a good fit for me, It is easy to read with large numbers and a visible display and it is priced inexpensively.
