I've never had goji berries, so I was a little surprised initially with the slight aftertaste that reminded me a lot of dates. Wasn't bad, just different.

I found these dried berries to be fresh and good tasting. They did clump up in the bag - a few taps with a hammer on the outside of the bag took care of that with no problem, and the texture of the berries themselves is very appealing. I like the fact that they're organic and GMO free, and the 2lb bag was a good size - not so large that they'll go to waste, but big enough to provide a decent value.

Potential buyer on Amazon was asking "What country are these berries from". I emailed customer service (the address is on the front of the package) and got an answer from them stating "All our products are manufactured here in the U.S".
People are complaining that the berries are clumped in the bag and that is true, but that also shows that they are organic and not treated with chemicals to stay perfectly plump and separate. I use a fork to break a few for my oatmeal every day.

As other reviewers have noted, these bags come in Gogi bricks having settled to the bottom of the bag.

These are super yummy perfect goji berries BUT if you get a bag of Goji brick...do NOT take a rubber mallet or a hammer to the brick...simply hold the brick in your hand and twist...keep twisting and all of your goji berries will be separated. Taste is superb!

So these taste kinda odd but I have some ideas for uses that I've yet to try, and I suspect it'll make them easier to consume. Another odd thing is they come kinda stuck together--might have been because of the heat during delivery. Anyhow, they're much chewier than expected. But overall, the nutritional value is worth tinkering with way to eat these. They're super healthy and you get a ton in this container.

Having never heard of Goji berries prior to seeing these, I did a little digging. Also called wolfberries, goji berries (Lycium barbarum) are native to Asia. With a sweet, slightly sour flavor and vibrant red hue, they've been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years. Goji berries are also frequently used in supplements alongside other fruits, herbs, and extracts. They are high in Vitamin A, iron, and antioxidants.

The two-pound bag of sun-dried organic Goji Berries from Deal Supplement arrived in its own resealable plasticized metallic bag. The expiration date on my order is a full two years from date of receipt (Aug 2025).

The first thing I noticed about the goji berries are that they look just like orange raisins. While the camera photographs them with more of a red hue, they appear more orange to me. Right out of the bag, they taste like sticky, chewy, sweet raisins. I let a handful plump in a cup of hot water and they do take on a red color as they plump, imparting that color to the water. They retain their sweet taste and the water is like drinking a nice herbal tea. The only thing I don't like about them is that they have a very prolonged aftertaste. It's not awful, just there for hours.

I have purchased other supplements from Deal Supplement and they tend to use fresh, quality ingredients. I look forward to trying the Goji Berries in smoothies and on cereal as well as baked in muffins. I award the two-pound bag of sun-dried organic Goji Berries from Deal Supplement 4 stars.
