However, it seems more tarp like than pond liner. I've got ducks and emu that kick around in the pond and puddles and pools, so I'm not sure how long this one will hold up to them.
Now it might be great for a small garden pond with a few fish in it!

Great as an impermeable barrier

I actually did not use this item for a pond but as a barrier to place under my area rug to prevent further damage to my hardwood floors. I have a dog that has frequent urinary tract infections and despite having access to the outdoors whenever she wants, she sometimes is unable to make it and goes on the area rug. I have tried everything from towels to plastic bags, but nothing has worked. So far this has worked to contain the urine to the carpet layer where I can extract it and clean with an enzymatic cleaner and after a few days, the crunching of the barrier loosened and it isn't noticeable under the rug. The material used is similar to tarp material with tiny weaves like privacy barriers for outdoors, but this has a coating of what appears to be wax to make it waterproof. The reason for 4 stars is that I think it would be better if it was made from a softer material since the stiffness makes it less malleable.

This Reinforced Pond liner performed very well and performed well. Truley holds up as expected. Holds water well, isn't easily torn, fabric has good structure. It's Flexible and can be utilized in many ways. Easy to work with. It allows you to shape and fold it as needed. Very reasonably priced for the size. Not sure on deterioration rate so can't say how long it will hold up for. I'm sure it won't be needing replacement anytime soon. Used it to hold back water and keep it away from foundation. Very pleased with quality and would recommend. 4.5 stars
