I have about 8 maybe 9 plants surrounding my fireplace/TV area and watering them just got a whole lot easier thanks to this thing. All I have to do now is refill the water bucket ever so often and this little thing takes care of it from there. I would recommend going to a pet store and picking up backflow preventer valves, they're very common items used for things like fish tanks etc.

This pump is has much more output than previous one bought and works great. Only question I have is can you control the pump pressure? I had one setup with only 6 plants on it and it blew the hose off because of the water pressure. I remedied this by adding a line with adjustable flow to return extra water to the bucket and relieving pressure on the lines. Pretty powerful pump for the money!

Controls are easy to understand, adjust and read, tubing easy to work with (use hot water to soften and make tight seals). One caveat- do not drop control in water!
