Affordable & easiest air brush set!
"Mignonne" the Cajun Lovebird!✓ Verified Purchase•December 20, 2023
Super lightweight and I love that it doesn't have a cord so it's not stuck in one place. It comes with different liquid holding containers which help if you need more paint than the small one it comes with. The cleaning was also easy to do and it comes with cleaning brushes which I appreciated as I do not own anything that will get in the crevices like the brushes it comes with do. Order arrived on time. Instructions included. Would recommend this product! Will definitely purchase again as a gift to friends & fmly.
Pretty good!

I got this airbrush and as far as I'm concerned, it works quite well. I've never used an airbrush before so any error I have is probably user error. The instruction manual is quite clear and easy to read. It is easy to put together and has all the cleaning supplies needed in the kit as well. Overall, a great beginner airbrush!
Value for money

This was my first experience using an airbrush. I purchased this product as an alternative to expensive spray cans from GW for miniature priming. I am satisfied with the result because any alternative would cost you a fortune with separate compressor and give you similar result. In my opinion this thing is good when you need to prime something or cover a large area with a single color like terrains for example. The only issue I had is with the trigger button on the compressor. It has 3 modes and in order to turn it off you need to click up to 2 times which increases psi each time you press so you have to keep it in mind to move your airbrush away from your miniature before switching it off in order not to accidentally spray areas you don't want to. Another minor thing to keep in mind is since this airbrush has no hose and attached directly to compressor the only holder you have is the compressor itself. Which means that all paint you touch or spill on your hands will be on you compressor as well unless you are very careful unlike me. Cleaning it from paint is a bit of a challenge because obviously compressor is not waterproof and has some electric circuits inside. The trigger button has to be pressed very gently. I pressed it too hard and bent it on the circuit board which was a minor thing to fix but just letting you know.
In any way this airbrush kit is totally worth the money. It definitely has it's drawbacks some of which were the result of me being inexperienced while using it for the first time. For more careful person this kit would be a game changer which can speed up painting process in times with as little investment made.

UPDATE 12/28/23:
It keeps clogging no matter what I do, so I sent it back.
===========================================
I'm new to air brushing. I didn't want to spend much money so I tried this unit. It does come with everything you need to get started. I reviewed many youtube videos on using an air brush and I learned that thinning the paint is probably the most important thing. And there's no magic formula because all paints are different, even within a particular brand. Once I got the mix correct, I was able to paint my object. Again, this is my first air brush so I don't have anything to compare to.
One thing to note is that this is not a two-stage unit. In other words, when the compressor is turned on, air comes out the tip. When you pull back on the lever, the paint comes out. On more expensive units, you first push down on the lever to get the air to flow, then pull back for paint. On all the videos I saw, they always said that you start with the air, then pull back for paint, and leave the air on after you stop the paint. So, I guess it's not a big deal to have the air on all the time the compressor is running.
The unit does have an annoying flaw. When you release the lever, it sends out a large puff of paint and this happened at every compressor speed. Since I was painting an object, this was OK since I would move the brush past the object before releasing the lever. However, if I was an artist painting on a canvas and needed to control my brush strokes, I don't think I could do so with this air brush.
The unit did clog often. I didn't strain the paint, but I was using good, new paint so I didn't think it was necessary. Maybe straining would reduce the clogging, or maybe thinning a bit more would help. Again, I'm a novice and need to learn more.
The instructions didn't jive with the unit I received. It showed a two-piece nozzle in the picture, but the brush had only a one-piece tip. On some videos, people with better air brushes would remove the end tip which allowed them to wipe the needle and keep the unit from clogging so much.
The kit came with several bristle brushes but I don't know what they were for. They were too large to do any cleaning inside the air brush. In fact, I'd be afraid to scratch the inside of the air brush because that might damage the unit.
If I want to improve my air brushing skills, I'll purchase a better, two-stage air brush that has a separate compressor.
