Originally I purchased the automatic open/close. It proved very annoying, every time you'd get near it, it would open. I think auto open is best for large bathrooms. This toilet is great! No more being afraid of getting close to the toilet and it opening and flushing. This one has a heated seat, heated water and a heated blower. You can select different temperatures for each of them. The way it works is you sit on it, select the function you want from the remote or toilet push buttons. Once you select dry it auto flushes. If you need to wipe after, you move your foot near the base and it flushes again. Oh and the installation seems easier than a regular toilet as you don't mount it. It just sits on a double ring. You will need a 110/115v outlet, I ran my own.

I didn't want to get a basic bidet as the water is cold and uncomfortable if not heated. I needed to replace my old toilet anyways and was having the bathroom remodeled. This toilet is upper tankless so it also is more comfortable to sit on and takes up less space and provides better water pressure. I love how many washing modes dependent on what's needed. The toilet flushes itself! Which is perfect on our house as my kids tend to forget. When you walk up to this toilet it automatically lights up. The sensors allow it to be so advanced.the seat is heated no more cold but in winter time! It has a remote control and can also be controlled from Buttons directly on the toilet. I've never seen a toilet like this one and it was affordable! Worth every penny!
