BPA-free 15ft heated hose for RV winter camping

Suitable for those who RV camp in winter too. RV campsites usually have the electrical and water hookups next to each other. So, plugging in the standard plug this hose comes with to the RV campsite's electrical hookup as well as connecting this hose to the campsite's water faucet shouldn't be a problem. And its' 15 ft long should be plenty. Like that both ends of these hose have insulation and the hose has a protective layer. This way we don't have to insulate the hose with the sealed foam tape like we did our non-heated water hose. Since winter is still about 6 months away, we haven't tested this hose's heating function yet but have connected to see if at least the water or electric plug works. They do. This has a temp sensor and a cold resistance up to -40, which is way more than we'll need if we do RV camp in Texas this upcoming winter. With the water on a continued drip system and the outdoor faucet and exposed pipe well-wrapped in good insulation, I expect this heated hose to keep our water pipes from freezing to the point that there'll be no water coming out from our inside faucets. We shall see.

This is a great hose. The material is thicker and feels more sturdy than standard hoses. I actually like that the size of the hose isn't really any bigger than a normal hose even with the added heating element. They did a good job with the water and heating element ratios which guarantees the water won't freeze. The water line is a little bit smaller in diameter which is fine because you really won't ever use it on full blast when attached to an RV water system. I like the fact that they used a lighted plug so you can take a quick glance and see that it's actually working or not.

This isn't your everyday water hose, but that's to be expected because it actually heats up to keep your water flowing in colder temps! That's why I ordered one for our camper, and I'm looking forward to using it all winter to keep the water from freezing up when the temperature drops.. It's a little stiff at first but you can plug it in, let it warm up before unrolling it and it makes it a lot easier. I'm very happy with this heated hose because it's well made and it'll last for many cold winters to come!
