Decent scooter

Bought this scooter to use in college. It's great to get around when you don't have a car. It is not good going up on hills. I got a flat tire and the seller did send me a new tube. While replacing the tire tube noticed the rim was cracked. Contacted the seller again. They told me they don't have the replacement part so I have to get a whole new scooter. Not sure what is going on and they told me they only have purple which I bought a black. Amazon.com claims they have black in stock so I'm not sure why I'm only offered a purple. But I need a scooter so I will take whatever I can get at this point. I'm not a heavy person 135lbs and I only use my scooter around the campus so it's normal wear and tear use and the rim is already cracked. I paid almost $400 for this scooter. So if I were you I would buy the 2 year warranty on it. An electric scooter like the Byrd may have been a better option because it is cheaper but no seat. I'm a poor college student with not a lot of free time. I just need things to work and not have to deal with issues. I did have to return the old scooter which the seller sent a pre paid return label. The seller is very nice and they usually respond within 24 hours. The purple is more like a lavender color which I did like.
Love it.

As of 11/20/2023 I have 192 miles on my scooter. I wanted to wait awhile before I wrote a review and share my thoughts.
As you can see in my photo I am well past 60 years, (ahhh to be 60 again) anyhow it came well packaged, was easy to put together but I did have to adjust the front forks and the rear fender that was a little skewed, after that I charged it to full and went riding.
This scooter is great fun to ride and I look cool on it, I've had people in cars make Uturns and chase me down to ask the important questions of, what is it, who makes it, how fast, how far and how much, so lets get down to brass tacks.
I'm 220 pounds, I regularly get 20 miles between charges, I can go as fast as 18.5 mph on flat road surfaces and less depending on grade but overall not bad.
I live in a city and city streets can be rough, after adjusting the rear springs and in conjuncture with the seat springs street riding is tolerable, after about 8 miles my rear starts to feel it and this winter I plan on getting a new seat. I am very grateful I purchased a scooter with rear springs.
This scooter is a joy to ride. I regularly go to the grocery store and fill up my backpack plus a shopping bag that I bungee cord firmly to the basket but as you can see I put my dog in the backpack and go to the dog park, not to mention the tailgate parties before football games.
What I find humourous is how many old guys like me bought scooters after watching me ride around on mine.
As for going uphill, it could be a challenge, it really depends on how steep it is, I've been able to go, slowly, up long grades but at other times I just walk it up, we have numerous underpasses and those pose no problems, you just slow down a little.
What I wish this scooter had,
Rear view mirror.
A bigger seat.
A bigger basket although this one is doable.
A walking function that allows the scooter to go about 1 mph as you walk it up a hill.
To recap;
This scooter is the best thing I've bought in a long time, it's fun to ride, it takes me everywhere, it's easy to lock up with a Ulock and it's light enough to carry up a few steps into my house where it resides in an out of the way spot.
5 stars all the way.
Enjoy.

I ordered this scooter to see if I can used it with my small dog that needs to run at a speed I cannot reach on my own. It is very easy to put together, it comes mostly assembled. The only problem are the inexistent instructions of how to use it, I had to read people's comments, questions and answers to figure how to turn on the lights and I do not see any change in the speed mode, which really do not work at all. I had been using it for a month and I giving it 4 starts because the of that, also because the pole for the handles does not extend so you cannot ride it standing up, and I am only 5'4" if I stand up, the my hands do not even reach my hips, and because the speed it reaches do not change with the allegedly 3 modes it has. Its battery last less than the 22 miles, I will say about 15-17. It moves so slow you do not need wear protection at all, it is almost no way you could get hurt seriously riding this scooter.
First Day of Riding Was Great!

It is a great product, I would recommend it. It is a great product, I would recommend it. This product was easy and quick to put together. It seems to be of good quality. My 11 year old daughter has had a blast on the first day of riding. I must admit I enjoy it as well. The seat is comfortable and it has decent pick up and go. I would recommend this for anyone just looking for a simple local cruise.
Excellent E-Scooter/ very impressive

What did you dislike or like about this product:
Well, there's no reason to dislike this product!
Well, I weigh roughly 273 lbs and the max weight for this product requires to have a weight of no more than 265 lbs I think 🤔; I finally took this product out at night
for a spin and i now can say without hesitation that at my overweigh readings of 273lbs fortunately were able to top a speed of only 14.5mph easily on a flat road without any hills, but unfortunately because of myself being so overweight made my new E-Scooter super duper hesitant to ride up the hill which is extremely steep and long from where i live at was once a upon of time a valley, so there are so many steep hills here.
And also i really have to be very careful not to blow up the tires due to my overweight condition.
Is this product very silent when the motor is in motion?
Well, as i was riding this product lurks a noticeable sound, so, no, it's not a quiet scooter when in motion.
I only bought this product only just to get to from my house to Aaron's a little faster than what my power wheelchair doesn't do because unfortunately power wheelchairs are only programmed by the manufacturer that adjusts the speed only to have a top speed of 4.5 mph unfortunately; do you know what's it like to be on a power wheelchair out in the freezing below temperature just to get to get to Aaron's from literally a distance of 15 to 20 minutes and another 20 minutes just to get home is indeed stressful for a man with serious medical lower back issues like myself!
