Took about 4 hours to assemble. Directions were difficult to follow and some pieces were numbered incorrectly but eventually was able to figure it out. Similiar to putting together ikea furniture. Happy with the finished product for the price.

This cabinet bed was exactly what I was looking for. I have been looking around for a long time. I looked around and even found one at a local furniture store that cost $3,500. That was way more than what I wanted to spend.

While this is not Prime the shipping it was very fast and the cost of the bed and shipping was considerably less than others offered on Amazon even with buying the mattress. Note this does not come with a mattress. I highly recommend getting the thickest trifold you can find -which was 6" for me.

Assembly wasn't complicated as long as you go slowly and pay attention to the directions and line up the predrilled holes. Took about 4 hours from start to finish. What helped me was to separate all the pieces a head of time. The reason why I gave it 4 stars was because there was one piece that didn't have predrilled holes for the hinges which was pretty significant upon assembly. This was the only part I needed another person to help hold it in place. Otherwise it's a one persone job. The other reason is it's not completely square- but nothing significant at this price point. Especially when it is just for occasional guests.

Overall this is a good item for the price point, and due to the fact that it will only receive occasional use. Shipping was quick, about a week. Two boxes are in the shipment. Assembly took six hours for two adults. The instructions weren't the clearest, and a few of the pieces were labeled incorrectly, which we found out toward the end of the assembly when we had to disassemble and rebuild. Pay attention to the holes on the outsides of the large panels, and how they will line up with the side support panels toward the end. Several screws were stripped and required some creative engineering (toothpicks broken off in the pre-drilled holes to grab and hold the screws). There were also four screws stripped on the hinges on the inside, so we had to use slightly larger screws. When the bed is laid out, the panel that rests on the rolling trundle has no protection between the wood and the metal trundle. As this is the outside of the cabinet when closed up, this design could lead to visible scratching on the wood panel. We place a blanket or thin yoga mat over the trundle before laying the panel on it. I do wish the storage drawer was a little larger. A 6" tri-fold Queen mattress fits well in the cabinet when stored.

This took me 3 1/2 hours to put together. Get a drill and same size bit as the Allan key. Saves so much time. Instructions aka pictures were fine. I was only confused on the panels that have hinges bc they make picture look like there is a cut out for the hinges but there is only holes for screws. Some panels were not labeled but could easily figure out with pictures. Not sure what all these reviews are complaining about. Assembly was easy enough. Other critique is the center panels rattle. But it's for guests not for me to live in.
