I ordered this leather to make a custom collar for my dog. It's beautiful leather, nice and thick (measures 2mm by my ruler). It's got that wonderful leather smell, too, and no funky chemical smells.
My only complaint would be that the surface finish is quite distressed. If that bothers you, skip the brown option. Not sure about the others. Personally, I like the look and can't wait to finish my project!

I ordered the blue leather which is soft and supple, beautifully and consistently dyed with very slight variations expected with natural leather. It's all one piece with the sides cut cleanly, all in one direction of the leather. I ordered to create a shoulder strap for a leather bag, but there's enough to also create a nice belt as well. And the price is a fraction of the cost compared to buying real leather belts and shoulder straps. Very good leather and smart choice.

This leather is going to be great for a lot of projects. One is a basket that is giving way at the bottom. I can weave this in to stabilize it. I also just started making mocassins and I can incorporate this into some of those designs. Very excited about this! Great product!
