Easy Install and Gets The Job Done

Just put this up in my garage for my cross country skis and it was a super quick/easy installation. It took about 5-10 minutes and most of the time was my own fault (initially putting it on upside down). It comes with all the dry wall anchors and screws needed!
As for the install instructions, they aren't the best. It states you need to put in 5 screws but there are only 4 screw holes. Additionally, it doesn't specify the size of pilot hole to drill for the drywall anchors. I used a 7/32 drill bit. It was a little tight putting the drywall anchors with that size (so you could probably go a tad bigger) but it got the job done.
I was slightly worried about getting the skis to hang correctly because the directions showed 4 different methods of hanging them. But once I got it installed and put the skis in, it was pretty intuitive and they have been holding fine.
I'll definitely be ordering a second one for my wife's skis!

I got this ski hanger to hold a set of skis in my basement. They hang the skis perfectly, but my only concern is that the plastic sounds hollow and gives the illusion of fragility. These could definitely hold a snowboard as well.

These ski hangers provide a nice way to store skis that gets them off the ground and optimizes storage space. They also look good and are a clean/professional looking way to display your quiver of skis. The construction is solid and the blue rubber pads are sticky, resulting in a secure grip on the skis. Loading and unloading the hangers is easy, and the good grip allows for storing skis at different heights without slipping.

We just got back into skiing and after buying some new skis, I was not comfortable just leaning them on a wall in the garage. I am really glad I found these!
They are made out of a hard plastic (the black part). Then the blue rubber in the middle is where it grips your skis. These are perfect! You simply open one side up and both sides open, so you have your skis in one hand and just press down on one side. The really cool thing is that you can place your skis anywhere in them and they grip them right where they should - no slipping. They have little hooks for your poles too. They come with a little bungy cord to put across them for safety, but I see no way any skis are falling out of them.
The only thing that I would change in the box is these little screws that came with it. They strip out pretty easily. I used my own screws and screwed these directly into a 2x8 beam in my garage and now the skis are ready to go this winter. Can't really say more than just get these as they will fit your needs.

Keep your skis off the floor and out of the way. This rack is perfect for doing that. Grabs 'em by the tips and keeps your poles off the ground as well. Wish there was a solution for boots as well, but these are great for now.
