I wanted a replacement for a Fitbit Zip that had finally died. All I wanted was a stepcounter, and that's what this item will do for you. It counts with high accuracy, except that it has a feature where the first 10 steps are not recorded; on the 11th step, it records 11 steps. If you are going about your ordinary day, you move a lot in intervals of fewer than 10 steps, so some get lost. Also, since it has no clock, you have to reset to zero each morning unless you are seeking a cumulative total. The first one delivered did not work properly. The return was easy as could be. The replacement works perfectly well.

This is the best pedometer I've ever used. I've had different fitbits and other plain pedometers, but this one is the easiest and most accurate.
There are 3 different ways to use it. In your pocket, clipped on your belt/pants, or hanging around your neck. The accuracy is amazing. I bought 2, one for me and my wife. If we walk together, they are within a reasonable amount. Usually the difference in stride. Which is what it should be.
I love how easy/hard it is to reset. Easy to do it with your fingers, hard to do it when it's in your pocket.
I'd by this again and again.

Love the simplicity of this. Track steps, reset, light to see steps in the dark. That's all I wanted and that's what I got with this! Also the reset button is tucked away in the back of the device and in the middle of the cradle so it has NO chance of getting accidentally reset, unlike a couple other pedometers I tried from Amazon.

Since you cannot reset the steps with the counter in the clear plastic case, with the counter in the case, I simply marked the case with a sharpie showing the location of the reset button. I then removed the counter from the case and drilled a 1/8 inch hole in the case at the center of the reset button location. Now I can reset the counter with a pen with the counter still in the case. If you enlarge the hole with a file, you can use your fingernail to do the reset.
It seems to count the steps fine, has large easy to read numbers and is very user friendly and easy to use.
