The days of having to struggle with heavy and unwieldy equipment are long gone. Light weight to use. Comes with extra blades and even a metal rotary saw type lade. That blade means business and tore through the tall grass and baby trees. I found the stringless trimmer to be especially impressive due to the fact that it removes the inconvenience of continuously changing trimmer lines and dealing with tangles. I definitely recommend.

I'm really pleased, in general, with this set. Works perfectly for this! Extremely light weight and quiet. Untangling cords and I'm a woman in my 60s who does all of my own yard work and gardening. This seemed like a far cheaper option than everything else out there so I was skeptical, but the proof is in the picture of my own results. This really tall grass growing around my house is just too difficult for my string trimmer to handle, and this is doing the job beautifully.
With really tall grass like this you have to be careful you keep it cleared away as you go because it can get caught in the blade and get wound up.
Battery life is kinda short but they make up for this by throwing in a second battery. I wasnt using a stopwatch, but felt like i was getting about 15 mins of work time per battery. Wish it had a charging dock instead of just a cord but this thing is so cheap i dont care. You aren't going to buy this if you want to clear a large tract of land or want to start a landscaping company, but for the homeowner dealing with a little stubborn overgrowth it is VERY good option for the price.
It has been more than powerful enough to handle the job I bought it for so I am glad i didnt spend $100+ on one of these. I already have a nice string trimmer for everything else. Even had a baby oak that had sprouted and was up to about 1.5" diameter and this sawed through it no problem, even though that would probably be the largest trunk or branch youd want to go for.
