I got this for my son to use since he just started getting into fishing. This is a great value for what comes inside and while it may not be the best quality stuff, it is good enough for any beginner to get started and learn with. He's been having a great time using everything and figuring out what to use when etc. Happy with it so far and while I did say the quality is lacking a bit, nothing has broke yet and he has caught fish on the soft plastics and lures which is great.

I got these for my son and I too share. Upon first use, we were catching fish (standard Midwest mix of sunnies and bass). The lures are much better than expected but I'd manage expectations, as I'd compare the quality to Walmart Ozark Trail brand.
If you’ve got a rod and reel, this kit is all you need to start catching fish.

I have thoroughly tested every lure in this kit, and they do catch fish! The proof is in the pictures. I wish I'd gotten a picture of every fish I caught, but at least you can see this kit will catch fish. This kit comes with absolutely everything you need to start catching fish immediately. I successfully caught fish with every hard plastic lure in the kit except the two swim baits and the frog. I caught three fish on the whopper plopper, and two on the crank bait(one of which was the really nice sized bass, pictured above). I also caught several crappie on the spinner bait, and a smaller bass on one of the spoons. I caught a nice sized pickerel on the jerk bait too. It comes with some very decent quality soft plastics as well. The assortment and quality of the hooks, weights, and accessories is amazing for this price. I honestly did not expect nearly this great of quality for the price they are asking for this kit. I'd recommend this for fisherman of any skill level, but it's a great starter kit for someone trying to build up their lure collection. The only complaint I can possibly think of is that the box they come in is not the greatest, and I would recommend putting these in something a little more sturdy rather than carrying this case around if you can. Other than that this is an amazing product. I honestly don't believe it's possible to find a better kit in this price range.
