Nice, Basic Photo Album

As the title says, this is basic but nice small/medium sized photo album. It's fabric bound, sufficiently sturdy, and the picture pockets are easy to open and fill (are not really tight up against the page like others tend to be). The pages of pockets are bonded to the album's spine; there aren't any loose-leaf type binder clips to deal with, which makes turning the pages much easier. I would have liked to see a pocket on the front or back spine to accept a label since a stick-on label will not really adhere well to the fabric but other than that this is a solid album that can accommodate up to 200 moment-in-time memories.

When it comes to photo albums, it's really what's on the inside that counts, so I wasn't looking for anything too fancy when I got this. I like the simple, conservative style of the album cover. The fabric feels nice and while it isn't anything special, it doesn't feel cheap. It looks nice and will fit in any home design. The pages aren't heavy duty but they also aren't flimsy. I have loaded 198 pictures into this already (I haven't ordered the last two pictures yet), and they slid in easily. The 4x6 sticks out just a tiny bit at the end, which makes it easier to pull out. The pages at the beginning and the end of the book were a little harder to put in because the other pages got in the way, but it wasn't a big enough obstacle to even get frustrated over. Once filled, the book bulks up just right, aligning with the spine width.

I received the 200 pocket photo album by Popotop. It has a nice grey cover with some darker gray and white mixed in. It is very sturdy. The pages are all black with 2 clear openings on each page that fit up to a 4x6 photo. You can place each picture in the opening easily and there is no resistance. This is album is easy to hold and is not too big but still holds a lot of photos. The only negatives I noticed is that if I wasn't careful with putting the pictures in, the clear overlay separated from the black page. Also, there was a small rip in the back cover of the photo album near the inside binding. This could have been damaged in shipping as it only came in a bubble wrapped mailing envelope. This defect doesn't look like something innate to the product, and I am not concerned that it will continuously fall apart. It is a cosmetic defect. Overall, I would recommend this photo album as it holds a lot of pictures and the price is right.
