I had 3 chips in my windshield and when I used this kit, they are barely noticeable! It took a little to get used to and to make sure there was enough of a vacuum to push the resin in the chips and seal it properly. But now when I'm driving, it doesn't bother me anymore. The chips used to be about a pinky fingernail size in length

I have used a number of different windshield repair kits over the year. Different ones are great for different types of damage. This style (with circular pads instead of suction cups) is great for the type of damage where you have long "spidery" legs on a crack. This kit works much better than the ones with suction cups at filling those long "legs" and making the crack disappear in situations where I had other kits fail before. Having several extra adhesion pads is great if you have several areas of damage on the windshield (you only need one pad for each repair). Definitely buy this kit if you have a highway construction in your area. I always keep at least 2 kits in my garage so that I could repair my windshield the same day if it gets hit by a rock. Keep it in your garage, the kit does not expire. From my experience, catching and fixing a crack early makes all the difference in making the repair completely invisible and the damage contained before it spreads.
