Love the compact size. Great if you're limited on space. I just got it so I haven't used it yet. Instructions on how to use it could be written a little differently so it would be easier to set up. A lot of seniors might have some difficulty understanding due to how they explain it.

I got these as kind of a gag gift for myself. My mom likes to yell for me for everything... Time to eat, take the trash out, go to the store, do your chores...either way its never for anything good, but I wanted to make her life easier to yell at me so I can yell at her back through the intercom. These work great for my needs. Set up was super easy. The sound quality isnt the best but it isnt bad especially for the price. The package comes with 2 stations and more can be added. This product has made this house so much more quiet and now I have less headaches from all the yelling. So thats a huge bonus!

Our intention was to install one downstairs (under our house"¦it is elevated) in my workshop. This would allow us to have easy communications between the shop and the house upstairs.

Initial setup was pretty easy. Since it uses a USB to type C cable for power, that is pretty straight forward. The instructions were OK, but not great and there were several references to making or answering a phone call. What phone? A bit confusing for us old folks! In the end, they are just referring to answering a call from the second intercom. One unit can hit the call button and that generates a tone on the other end.

The audio quality was better than expected with one exception. The actual volume (set at max) is pretty low unless the person on the other end is really close to the mic and talking loud. I think as a useful monitor, this is a fail for me. Being old and a bit hard of hearing, if I am not within 10-15 feet of the unit I may not hear my wife calling me. If there are other sounds nearby then even closer I can miss hearing her call. When in monitor mode it is not an open mic where it will pick up every little bit of noise. The audio/voices/noises at the monitored station has to be at a certain level for it to open the mic and transmit that to the other station. For me, this sort of defeats the purpose of the monitoring function. Last night I was in the shop and started calling for my wife by speaking loudly and reasonably close to the unit. Nothing"¦ So, the 24 hour limit (auto shut-off) on the monitoring function is factual. Each day, one has to mash the monitoring button to be rewarded another 24 hours of monitoring. I don't like this and the limited speaker volume and for this, I can only give this unit a 4 star rating.

For many situations this may be a perfect solution. But you also need to know the limitations as I outlined above. We will continue to use this as it is way better than having to pick up a phone and truly making a call to talk with my wife while I'm down in the shop. Thanks!

Was looking for a simple way to have communication within my office with many clients who are not particularly tech savvy. This is great for that purpose. I can put one at the front reception desk so if our employee steps away or is on leave a client or anyone else can ring my or another office without feeling neglected or ignored. They have great range and pretty good sound quality for the small size. I can even plug the into computers or TVs thanks to the USB connector. Overall this is not some magical product, but it keeps things simple, works well and does not need an internet connection, syncing, or software updates. When most of my staff has issues with software compatibility with new devices this is a great reliable solution!
